347 / 347H Round Bars & Wires is a stabilized
SS grade that offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion in
following exposure chromium excess carbide precipitation ranging from
800-1500 degree F. the stabilization of alloy 347 grade is due to
addition of tantalum and columbium in high quality. The 347 Alloy grade
is highly useful in high extensive temperature applications because of
its excellent mechanical properties.
Moreover, the grade exhibits greater and shorter creep and stress
rupture properties as compared with alloy 304. The grade is a columbium
stabilized austenitic SS round bars and wires exhibits good resistance
to intergranular corrosion. Alloy 347h has higher carbon content version
of alloy that offers good creep resistance and excellent strength at
high temperature. The grade 347 can be hardened by cold working process
and not by heat treatment.
The round bars and wires of this grade are highly used in various
applications because of its good resistive properties and essential
