Product details:
SS 347 / 347H Fasteners are columbium stabilized
austenitic stainless steel fasteners with good general corrosion
resistance. It has somewhat better corrosion resistance ability in
strong reducing zone. Alloy 347/ 347H are also named as UNS S34700/ UNS
S3406 grade. It has excellent resistance to intergranular attacks after
exposure in the chromium carbide precipitation zone in the temperature
ranges between 800- 1500 degree F. It has good creep strength
temperature up to 1500 degree F. It also possesses good low-temperature
properties in down toughness.
Alloy 347H is also UNS S3409 grade, it is the higher carbon version of
alloy consist of 0.04- 0.10 ratio. It is developed for higher creep
resistance and for higher strength at temperatures up to 1000 degree F.
It is dual certified with the carbon content. These cannot be hardened
by heat treatment process, only harden by cold working operations. These
are manufactured by the standard fabrication process.
These fasteners exhibit good general and local corrosion resistance that
is comparable to traditional grades. It is designed for utilization in
chromium carbide precipitation in the temperature range between 427- 816
degree C.
These are hot formed in the temperature range between 2100- 2250 degree
F recommended for other forming processes. The fasteners are water
quenched and fully annealed after hot working to retain maximum
corrosion resistance. This grade is quite ductile and forms easily.
Testing:
To evaluate the quality of products we introduce product range with several
tests. Those tests are the hardness test, tensile test, positive material test,
micro/ macro test, destructive/non-destructive test, Wedge tensile strength,
axial tensile test, proof load test, and fatigue test. Other tests are flexure
test, compression test, torsion test, creep test, drop weight test, mechanical
test, chemical analysis, intergranular corrosion test, flaring test, ultrasonic
test, radiographic test, pitting corrosion test and third party inspection.
SS 347 / 347H Fasteners are packed in standard packing of the
wooden box, crates, and cases to avoid damages while exporting.
