Alloy 201 is basically a commercially pure nickel alloy with a minimum amount of carbon content. The alloy offers high ductile and mechanical properties at a wide range of temperature. It even provides corrosion resistance feature in neutral to moderate reducing environments. This nickel alloy is ferromagnetic and offers high thermal as well as electrical conductivity. Due to its low carbon content, this alloy is considered suitable for the service above 600 deg F where a high amount of carbon content is not required.
