Cu 70/30 Round Bars & Wires are noted for excellent resistivity to corrosion, erosion, and pitting. It is combined with good strength, weldability, and workability. These are ideal for marine applications. It is also highly resistive to stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue. It has excellent retention of mechanical properties from lower temperatures up to -300 degree C.
In the annealed condition alloy 70/30 offers excellent strength levels makes it enable to be used in most demanding and critical applications. It has an attractive biofouling property. These are protected with a thin film of oxide makes it resistive to marine corrosion attack.
This grade responds well in the most fabrication process. This grade is readily hot and cold worked. These are not readily hardened in nominal temperatures. These are exposed to the sectors where the concern is chloride stress corrosion cracking.
